Water Conservation
Learn How You Can Save Money And Water
Why not get ahead of the curve. Save water and money. Water is a precious commodity and its price is definitely going up. If you could buy stock in water, now would be the time. In fact, in a way you can now, by decreasing your wasted water, you can save more money as the cost of water goes up.
The Water Conservation in Landscaping Act (AB1881) enacted many water conservation requirements that went into effect as of January 1, 2010. New and rehabilitated landscapes done by public agencies, private development, or single and multi family home developers over 2500 square feet, will require specific kinds of irrigation systems, including such things as Irrigation Audits by a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, ET smart controllers, sensors, check valves, and more. New homeowner provided/hired single family home landscapes will also be subject to the new regulations if their project is over 5000 square feet. If you don’t have meters in your neighborhood now, you will soon.
JP Landscape has experience installing and maintaining water conservation controllers, sensors, low-precipitation sprinklers, drip systems, and check valves. We also have access to top of the line rain water retention and use systems. JP Landscape has a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor on staff.
Your old irrigation systems can usually be updated to a more efficient money saving system without redoing the entire thing, definitely saving money in the long run. If you are going to put in a new system, there is very little increase in expense to start saving from the very beginning. We can help you decide whether it’s worth it or not.
JP Landscape is also qualified to do any other kind of landscape project you may have in mind. Please call (559) 486-2510 or come by our booth at SpringFest Home & Patio Show to get started saving and beautifying at the same time.
